The photo offers guests a remembrance of your benefit auction.Portrait photography works especially well for charity auctions which tend to have co-workers attending, such as corporate and hospital foundations. Guests look spiffy, so the photos show employees in their best light (all the better, considering those photos may show up on the company intranet).This auction idea works for four reasons:- The activity allows company departments and smaller teams of co-workers to have their photo taken together, which is a nice touch.- A photo with a traditional background seems more professional with your co-workers than, for instance, a backdrop of Las Vegas.- The photos allow for more flexibility later, such as if the company’s foundation wanted to include a photo of the work team in an issue of the company newsletter, or even in a proposal for a prospective client.- When individuals have a portrait taken, the finished headshot can be used for business cards or on the external company website.Near the entrance to the silent auction is usually the best location for the photography station. The photographer will show guests where to stand and offer basic instructions to capture the best angle and shot. For group photos, the photographer often takes a hands-on approach to ensuring everyone is in the photograph. Guests are given a 4″x6″ photo, often housed in a cardstock black frame.The developed photos are displayed on a table near the check-out area so guests can take their photo as they leave. Photos with groups of people are developed multiple times so each person in the photo can take a copy home.In short, this is a good activity for fundraising auctions. The big perk is that you can use those photos in a multi-purpose way long after the event is finished.A second photo option for charity auctionsI read an article from BizBash’s newsletter entitled “The Photo Booth That Can Capture the Whole Party.” http://www.bizbash.com/newyork/content/editorial/16574_a_photo_booth_that_can_capture_the_whole_party.php It talks about a new portable photo-booth — AKA, the Boothomatic — which rolls around the party, enabling guests to take photos wherever they might be.After reading the short article and checking out the photo, here are my immediate thoughts as to whether the Boothomatic would work in a benefit auction environment.My first thought is that this is something for a younger crowd. I can see as where Generation Y or Generation Z would totally get into this! But I don’t envision most of the guests at my benefit auction (age 40+) comfortably jumping in front of the booth without encouragement from an outgoing photographer.I’m still unclear after reading the article as to whether a photographer supervises the booth. If he does — and if that photographer is a gregarious type who can comfortably corral guests for photos — this would work. But if the booth is not supervised, my crowds would ignore it.In many hotels, the Boothmatic would work fine. But if the auction is to be held in an unusual facility — such as a historic home or even an outdoor garden — I’d consider alternative forms of entertainment. You’ll want a venue (and a floor!) that allows the booth to roll unencumbered.I love that photographs of the event are available for download from a website! They also offer customized packages. My only concern is that — once again — some of my less savvy older guests won’t understand how to download photos from a site. Those same guests *would* take home a photo of themselves if it’s printed onsite, but they would be less likely to check a website in the days following the gala.The price in New York is apparently $2500 for a 4-hour rental. I don’t know NYC rates well enough to gauge if this is in-line with other forms of photo entertainment or not. But given that there are no printed photographs available to guests onsite, I would hope that the Boothomatic would be less in price than something, say, like portrait photography. According to American Fertility Association a womans fertility begins to decline in the late 20s, drops more sharply after 35 and plummets when she hits 40. After the age 30, the probability of getting pregnant naturally drops by 3%-5% per year and even faster after the age of 40! A healthy 30 year old woman has 20% chance of getting pregnant in any given month, by the time she turns 40 the chances drop to 5%! But do not throw in the towel just yet! There is hope. What these studies did not tell you is the reason why the fertility is dropping with advanced age.
Women are born will all of their eggs while men start producing their sperm in puberty. We have had those eggs around for a long time and everything we have ingested or inhaled or smeared on our skin over the course of our life has either left a positive or a negative mark on all body cells including the eggs and sperm. Most of the fertility issues arising with age have to do with accumulation of toxins due to a longer exposure and prolonged lack of necessary nutrients which in turn results in poor energy production, and faster aging and deterioration of the cells including eggs and sperm.
Aged cells are no longer plump and efficient. This means that they are slow on the uptake of nutrients and removal of toxic waists. Their membranes are no longer as efficient as they used to be and they do not communicate all too well anymore. Cells communicate with the other cells through nerve impulses and chemicals they release into the bloodstream letting the body know what they require for optimal function and cell repair. Aged cells do not do that quite as well anymore.
Even if in this poor state of health conception occurs the likelihood of miscarriages and abnormalities is higher. But when the toxins are removed and the nutritional deficiencies addressed your chance of a healthy pregnancy and conception is significantly better. However you have to stay realistic and depending on your age, state of health and genetic inheritance you may still require other options. At this point many of my patients say: I already have a good diet, eat healthily and exercise! Many people do not realize that many foods labeled as healthy are actually not. If you look closely at the ingredients you will see all sorts of additives and colors and sometimes even artificial sweeteners which are very toxic to the body. This is very common among vegetarians and vegans who think they have a very healthy diet by avoiding animal products but do not pay much attention at the ingredients of the fake ham or fake sausages and similar products which miraculously taste just like the real thing but with no traces of animal product. Moreover, even if you eat non processed food and where possible organic, the nutrient content of the food is not what it used to be 100s of years ago. In that short space of time that food has been either frozen, or refrigerated, packaged in plastic, gassed, X-rayed, possibly sprayed or waxed to stay fresh for longer. Another common misconception is when people think they eat very healthily by only eating sea food. Deep sea fish which lives for long time is loaded with mercury as are all the mussels and sea creatures without scales. This does not make Cray fish and shrimps healthy either as they crawl on the bottom of the sea and eat the sediment. Unfortunately our seas are polluted with jet fuel which is rich in heavy metals, which have been found to be a big culprit in infertility. Even the purest organic diet, with cleanest water and toxin free environment may not meet the individual requirements for nutrients and supplementation for optimal preconception care is often required.
By putting simple steps into place not only will you be increasing your chances of getting pregnant naturally but you will also help turn back the hands of time on your appearance. The beauty is not skin deep and the youthful appearance does not come from a jar or a bottle!
It comes from modifying your diet by avoiding:
1. fast food
2. fatty food
3. simple carbs (sugary foods)
4. white flour
5. soft drinks
6. coffee
7. alcohol
8. tap water
9. smoking
And modifying your lifestyle;
1. minimum of 7-9 hours of sleep
2. regular exercise
3. reduced exposure to environmental toxins and radiation.

Party invitations don’t have to rely on stock phrases like “You are invited!” or “Guess who’s turning 12!” You can exercise as much creativity as you can in making wording for party invitations. In fact, the more creative you are with your wording, the more the celebrant and his or her guests are sure to appreciate the effort you put into the act of making the invitations. It gives the party that much-needed personal touch, even before the gathering actually starts!
However, if you’re not careful, your wording for party invitations could end up being awkward. This occurs most frequently in two situations: 1) you do not know the celebrant very well, or 2) you are so determined to make an impression on the celebrant (whom you know very well) and his or her guests (whom you may or may not know very well) that you try too hard to sound clever and unique.
If you do not know the celebrant very well, what most people do is rely on stock phrases. Pull a random overused phrase from your repertoire, or pick a random phrase emblazoned on the front of the most popular invitations at the stationery shop. This is what we traditionally call the “easy way out.” And there is nohting wrong with this! This technique works well enough especially if you’re pressed for time, or you are not exactly verbally inclined, as it were. Sometimes when doing your research at the gift shop, you’ll come upon a good phrase that is quite unique and just perfect for the kind of birthday gathering you need to make an invitation for.
But if you have time to do your research at the gift shop, why not use it to brush up on the personality of the celebrant? Spend a little time talking to the people closest to the celebrant - his or her spouse, siblings, parents, or dearest friends. It’s actually likely that you’ll know the celebrant yourself very well, since it’s seldom that people ask total strangers to draft up invitations for themselves or their loved ones - but sometimes a friend may approach you asking to borrow a little of your creative skills, for the sake of creating a completely one-of-a-kind invitation.
If you already know the celebrant very well, however, you may be tempted to make jokes about this celebrant’s age. Jokes are witty and quite a novelty for invitations, and when it comes to birthdays, jokes about one’s age are the most frequently used. However, no matter how well you think you know the celebrant, you may actually not be in the know about how sensitive this person is about his or her age! It is not true that women are the only ones who are sensitive about their ages - sometimes men are, too.

Without getting into more technical details, it must be said that having your data recovered can be a life saver. It can be your work for a period of time which is at stake. Although, it must be said, when all your work is centered around one computer, you really need to create a back-up option.

The continuation of life is a fundamental part of our purpose on earth. At some point or another we will be obsessed with the thought of passing on our genes to another generation. Without this inbuilt force of nature, there would have been no continuation of the human race after the first set of parents discovered the joys of teenagers.
Of course, with life as complicated as it is, the news of an impending birth is not always welcomed with open arms as it can bring difficulties that we are ill prepared for. However, for the majority of people, the gift of a new life is something that brings on an unexplainable joy. From the moment a woman realises she is pregnant, she feels an affinity with that baby that breaches the realms of normal bonding.
From the second trimester onwards that new life that is growing inside at an unprecedented rate will become known as the bump. The bump will govern many things before it even draws its first breath. It will decide what mum eats and drinks and whether or not those things stay down. It will decide how much sleep is had by mum and dad, it will govern how many times mum has to spend in the loo and it will give mum this inexhaustible urge to go out and buy cool baby clothes.
By month five, the realisation is that nothing will ever again be quite the same. The cool baby clothes are held up to the burgeoning stomach to see if they fit (don’t ask, it makes sense to us) and the house is taken over by a whole host of baby paraphernalia that warrants an extension being built. You will find yourself buying not just a cot and pram but a whole assortment of bedroom furniture to house the cool baby clothes, soft toys and rattles.
By months eight and nine, the only conversations possible are every aspect of what the childbirth itself will entail and all your hopes and dreams as parents as to what the delivery of your child will bring.
A month after the birth of your darling bambino, parents are divided into two groups. Those that divulge every gross bit of birth detail to any passing stranger to hold up as a true miracle and those parents who are still so shell shocked by the whole gory experience that they prefer to wander around in a daze, pretending it didn’t happen. This is ok until one day they leave the baby somewhere forgetting they even had it. This is not as far-fetched as it sounds. Hormones do funny things to women and at no other point in her life will she experience such peaks and troughs of articles as now. This means that all sensible reason will go out of the window for a period of time until that gorgeous bambino turns into ‘the baby’.
‘The baby’ then turns into a machine that eats, pukes and poops and as fast as you can shuffle sustenance into one end, ‘the baby’ turns it into something unrecognisably disgusting to churn out the other end. Still cute?
At this point, any lovey dovey gooey nonsense from dad over his cute little bundle of joy dissolves into looks of dismay as the now promoted ’sprog’ feeds rusk into the article player and hides his keys. This stage of baby rearing is soon moved on to the rugrat stage. This is not so bad. The rugrat is on the move and although he can get up to so much more mischief, this is balanced out by the fact that he finds everything funny dissolving everybody to giggles and his incessant laughter and the fact that he know sleeps all night.
From rugrat we promote our babies onto ankle biters. Ankle biters are at that stage just before and bordering on the terrible twos. Nothing is discovered unless it’s through the power of their new teeth and this also covers other peoples fingers, noses or shoulders. Never mind, just a few short years and they’ll be off to school.

Now you get the final number and know how much money you can use to pay the mortgage. This is the time to contact your lender and negotiate your term of payment. If you have received a notice, you have to respond to them immediately. If you delay, it will be difficult to avoid foreclosure. Discuss with the lender about your financial situation and show to them that you have managed to calculate your monthly expenses. Ask them for help, they should be able to come up with some refinancing plan that meets your current budget.

The MP3 file format has changed the way we store music by reducing the storage capacity needed to hold a track by around a tenth. Here are five quick recipes that are high in protein and easy to do. Enjoy!
Protein pancakes - These tasty pancakes are packed with protein, fibre and slow digesting carbs that provide all-day energy.
Ingredients:
1. 3 whole eggs
2. 3 egg whites
3. 2 level scoops of Vanilla flavoured protein powder
4. Half a cup of rolled oats
5. Cucumber
6. Onion
7. Pinch of salt and ground pepper
8. 1 teaspoon of extra-virgin olive oil
Mix together the eggs, egg whites, protein powder and oats. Grate the cucumber and onion into another bowl and stir in the black pepper, salt and minced garlic. Combine with the first bowl of egg, protein powder and oats. Pour olive oil into a non-stick pan and heat to medium, and then add in the mixture. Half a cup of the mixture creates an approximately 6-inch pancake. Let the mixture cook for at least 3 minutes before flipping it over to cook the other side. Serve. The entire mixture makes 6 pancakes.
Grilled prawns - Prawns are a good source of protein, iron, zinc, vitamin E and omega-3 fatty acids that reduce the risk of heart disease. However, take these in moderation as seafood is high in cholestrol.
Ingredients:
1. 3 large prawns (each prawn about 100 g)
2. a sprinkling of salt
3. a sprinkling of pepper
4. 3 cloves of garlic, chopped
5. 3 teaspoons of olive oil
6. Canola oil
7. English parsley, finely chopped
8. Half a lemon
Cut the prawn feelers off with a pair of scissors. Using a knife, slice the spine of each prawn and remove veins, if any. Sprinkle salt and pepper along the sliced spine. Add garlic and drizzle olive oil evenly over the prawns. Simply brush some Canola oil on the prawns before placing them on the grill. After a minute or so, when the prawns turn red, flip them over and grill for another minute or so.
Finally, squeeze lemon juice over it and sprinkle parsley.
Protein milk shake - This great-tasting, mouth-watering, high-protein dessert will be absolutely delightful after a day of hard work. You could start your day with this as your breakfast as well.
Ingredients:
1. 1/2 cup of low-fat, fresh milk.
2. 1 level scoop of chocolate - flavoured (or any other flavor depending on your preference) protein powder.
3. 6 ice cubes.
